Job summary

The Standard School District is seeking an Instructional Aide for Special Education to support students with diverse learning needs across three school sites: Highland Elementary, Standard Elementary, and Standard Middle School.

Under supervision of certificated staff, you will assist individuals and small groups with instructional tasks, help with classroom management, and maintain records. CPR certification is required, and a pre-placement health assessment will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Two years of study at an institution of higher education, or an Associate's or higher degree, or pass a formal state or local academic assessment that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics (or reading, writing, and mathematics readiness).
• CPR training required.

TERM/HOURS OF POSITION

5.75 hours daily; 183 work days / 206 paid days.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Minimum Qualifications

SALARY

Range 11, $18.66 - $23.31 per hour based on 10 steps (additional $0.32 per hour in lieu of benefits)
