Job summary

CHOC in Orange, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the new Special Delivery Unit. The SDU will support antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care, including high-risk deliveries, in a family-centered environment.

This night shift position requires at least two years in Labor and Delivery, BSN, California RN license and certifications (BLS, NRP, ACLS). The nurse will assist in OR and delivery rooms and help manage patient flow.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing with BSN.
• California RN license and required certifications (BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN fetal monitoring or C-EFM).
• Minimum two years’ Labor and Delivery experience; high-risk experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in SDU in both OR and delivery room per scope of practice.
• Provide family-centered care and ensure adherence to policies.
