Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a Special Care Aide (SCA) to join our PRN team serving Ada, Durant, Idabel, and Broken Bow areas in Oklahoma. You will support admissions, provide essential personal care, meals, and daily living assistance while traveling between client visits.

This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow within Home Health Services. The ideal candidate has 6+ months caregiving experience, a HS diploma or GED, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the service area and work independently.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and perform caregiving duties.

Responsibilities

• Supporting new client admissions and Start of Care visits.
• Providing personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Preparing meals and assisting with daily living activities.
• Performing housekeeping and household support.
• Assisting with errands and transportation when appropriate.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in client condition.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and visit records.
• Providing coverage for open shifts, call-offs, and urgent staffing needs.
• Traveling throughout the assigned service area to support clients.
• Promoting Elara Caring's mission and commitment to quality care.
