Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a dedicated Special Care Attendant to join our home care team. You will help deliver essential services to patients in their own homes, focusing on safety, dignity, and comfort.

We look for caregivers with empathy, reliability, and strong communication skills to collaborate with the Care Team and families, ensuring timely, quality care across communities.

Qualifications

• Experience providing care to the elderly or disabled in home or health-care settings preferred.
• Good communication, compassionate, dependable, organized, and flexible.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate home care to patients in their own homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living and necessary health tasks.
• Coordinate with Care Team Supervisor and report patient status.

What is Required?

• High School Diploma or GED preferred (based on state requirements)
• Experience providing care to the elderly and/or disabled in the home or a health care setting preferred.
• Good communication, compassionate, dependable, organized, and flexible
• Valid driver’s license and insurance
• Reliable transportation to perform job tasks

You will report to the Care Team Supervisor.
