Job summary

Agents conduct statewide, national, and sometimes international investigations, requiring independent work habits, strong judgment, and the ability to work with diverse law enforcement partners. Travel is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be AZPOST certified or within 3 years of active certification.
• Excellent interviewing and investigative writing skills are required.
• Ability to work with prosecutors, other agencies, and in potentially dangerous environments.

Responsibilities

• Confer with prosecutors on investigations.
• Interview victims, witnesses and suspects; plan case strategy.
• Prepare and serve search warrants; conduct searches and secure evidence.
• Engage in undercover investigations; conduct surveillance.
• Prepare arrest warrants; arrest and book suspects.
• Testify in various proceedings; manage case files and evidence.
• Review information; analyze data; perform related duties.
