UMass Memorial Health is seeking an SPD Tech I/II to perform decontamination, inspection/assembly, sterilization and distribution of instruments across the network. The role emphasizes infection control, safe work practices and meeting instrument flow quotas in a fast-paced environment.
The position includes an evening shift (2:45 p.m. – 11:15 p.m.) with a 40-hour work week and a $22.25–$35.50 hourly range. A USD 1,500 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Under the direction of the Sterile Processing Leadership Team, an SPD Tech will perform decontamination, inspection/assembly, high‑level disinfection (HLD)/sterilization, sterile storage, and distribution of instruments, devices and medical equipment across the UMass Network. The role requires maintaining a clean, safe workspace, adhering to infection control and safety practices, and meeting quotas for instrument flow.
