Job summary
Tampa General Hospital seeks a SPD Systems Coordinator to oversee and coordinate the Sterile Processing Management system within the Surgical Services Division. This role involves liaising with IT during implementations and upgrades, and leading design and support for informatics related to sterile processing.
The ideal candidate should have relevant information technology experience, SPD Technician background, and a bachelor's degree in a related field, alongside CRCST certification. The position is full-time with an on-site work arrangement.
Qualifications
- Five (5) years of related information technology and systems experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of Sterile Processing Management (SPM) system operations.
- Minimum of three (3) years of SPD Technician experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the Sterile Processing Management (SPM) system across the Surgical Services Division.
- Liaise with Information Technology and Network Systems during system implementations and upgrades.
- Lead design, testing, reporting, analysis, and support of SPD-related informatics.
