Job Description – SPD Systems Coordinator – Sterile Processing (260002E7)

The Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Systems Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the Sterile Processing Management (SPM) system across the Surgical Services Division and ensuring effective operations while providing support for the various systems utilized in the department as required. The Coordinator serves as a liaison and partners closely with Information Technology and Network Systems during system implementations, upgrades, and issue resolution. The Coordinator leads the design, testing, reporting, analysis, and support of SPD‑related informatics, with a focus on maintaining the integrity of the instrument tracking system. The Coordinator will carry out duties in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of related information technology and systems experience, with a minimum of three (3) years of Sterile Processing Management (SPM) system operations.
• Minimum of three (3) years of SPD Technician experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
• CRCST Certified.
