The Sterile Processing Service Coordinator is an experienced leader who combines technical expertise in sterile processing with strong mentoring and team leadership skills. This role encompasses the full scope of responsibilities for Sterile Processing Technicians Levels I, II, and III, while also serving as a resource for education, quality assurance, and operational leadership. As an expert in sterile processing standards, including AAMI guidelines, this coordinator: Provides mentorship and education to technicians across all levels Leads charge responsibilities and serves on-call as needed Drives continuous quality improvement and participates in hospital-wide initiatives Ensures compliance with regulatory standards from OSHA, DPH, Joint Commission, AAMI, and AORN Collaborates closely with surgical services to meet department and customer needs

Baystate Health offers a competitive total compensation package including pay, benefits, and employee recognition programs. Compensation is determined by factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and organizational needs. The base pay range does not include our comprehensive benefits package or potential incentive payments. The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
