Job summary
Enbridge seeks an Environmental Engineer to support SPCC across our U.S. Gas Transmission and Midstream assets, blending field inspections with office engineering.
You will prepare, review and certify SPCC plans, coordinate site visits, and migrate plans into SmartPlan, ensuring regulatory compliance and safe operations across a diverse asset portfolio.
A PE license with 4+ years SPCC experience is required; travel up to 30% is expected in a hybrid office/field role.
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering with PE certification.
- Ability to obtain license where Enbridge operates.
- Minimum 4 years’ SPCC-related experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, update and certify SPCC plans for all applicable assets.
- Coordinate site visits with operations personnel and conduct inspections for SPCC compliance.
- Coordinate migration of SPCC plans into SmartPlan and for all SPCC plan management.
- Retain and manage third-party consultants for SPCC program support and ensure safety program compliance.
- Provide guidance and interpretation of SPCC regulations and related state regulations.
