Job summary

Enbridge is seeking an Environmental Engineer to support the SPCC program for U.S. Gas Transmission and Midstream assets, combining field inspections with office compliance work to ensure federal and state regulatory adherence.

You will prepare and certify SPCC plans, coordinate site visits, manage consultants, and update Maximo/Enablon systems while driving continuous improvement across a diverse portfolio.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required; PE certification/licensure in operating states preferred.
• Minimum 4 years' SPCC-related site inspection experience.
• Strong understanding of SPCC regulations and related state regs.
• Experience with SPCC plan management platforms is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, update and certify SPCC plans for applicable assets.
• Coordinate site visits with operations personnel and conduct inspections for compliance.
• Migrate SPCC plans into SmartPlan and manage SPCC plan documentation.
• Coordinate third-party consultants and ensure safety program compliance.
• Provide guidance on SPCC regulations and applicable state requirements.
• Update internal systems (Maximo, Enablon) to track tasks and findings.
