Job summary

University Imaging Centers (UIC) at the University of Minnesota seeks a Spatialomics Lead Technician to provide end-to-end lab services for multi-omic spatial profiling. You will work across three campuses, operating advanced imaging platforms and collaborating with researchers to ensure high-quality spatial data generation.

The role requires strong technical skills in IHC/IF and in situ techniques, experience with spatial biology platforms, and the ability to manage workflows in a core facility

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, or related field with significant experience.
• 1–2 years wet-lab experience in histology, molecular or spatial biology.
• Proficiency with antibody/RNAscope tissue staining and standard imaging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Execute multiplexed IHC, IF, and in situ hybridization tailored to spatial genomics/proteomics.
• Collaborate to design experiments using spatial imaging to answer research questions.
• Validate tissues and TMAs; manage reagents and panel quality.
