Job summary

Google is seeking a Product Manager for Spatial Platform to shape scalable XR capabilities across devices, from immersive headsets to intelligent eyewear, aligned with Android. You will drive cross-functional work with engineers, designers, and partners to define requirements, roadmaps, and launches.

The role requires deep Android XR knowledge, hardware-software co-design insight, and the ability to coordinate with OEMs and developers to accelerate adoption across the Android ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product management or technical program leadership.
• 5 years of experience shipping low-level OS, kernel, system performance, power/battery architecture, or hardware-software platforms.
• Experience defining and enforcing system performance budgets across consumer electronics or embedded computing platforms.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver consumer hardware or platform releases.

Responsibilities

• Define the product strategy for the Spatial Platform, enabling easy adoption by partner devices and scalable growth with Android OS.
• Partner with the Developer Experience team to define and deliver a roadmap of developer-facing spatial capabilities, APIs, and SDKs.
• Define a platform alignment strategy aligned with AOSP and Toolkit roadmaps for durable, long-term investment and fast delivery.
• Enable device launches from a spatial platform perspective, supporting both standard Android apps and Spatial XR Apps on each device.
• Define and lead the roadmap for the platformization of spatial AI, ensuring compatibility with latest AI agents.
