Job summary

Google LLC in San Jose is seeking a Senior Product Manager for XR Hardware to guide the roadmap for Intelligent Eyewear, XR Glasses, and related devices from concept to launch. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related technical role.
• 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1).
• 2 years of experience building and shipping consumer electronics or related products.
• 2 years of experience directly working on hardware products in a product capacity.
• Experience driving hardware product lifecycles or new technology introductions (NTI).

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware definitions for XR device initiatives across multiple time horizons, balancing immediate shipping needs with long-term research and innovation.
• Guide hardware components through NTI to guarantee readiness and integration, including camera, audio, displays, etc.
• Apply end-to-end hardware product lifecycle expertise to shape device strategy and manufacturing processes.
• Partner with Product Managers, Hardware Engineering, and UX to align specifications with user experiences and software objectives.
• Collaborate with Platform teams to scale device programs industry-wide while evaluating engaged hardware to guide roadmap development.
