Job summary

TELUS is seeking a Digital Twin & Synthetic Reality Expert to drive Spatial AI in 3D simulations and synthetic environments. You will bridge architectural data, physics, and machine vision to teach AI how to navigate real-world infrastructure, supporting the Map of Everything initiative.

The role focuses on 3D point-cloud annotation, physics-consistency checks, and labeling Digital Twins of industrial spaces to improve autonomous infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Native-language proficiency required for identifying localized document types and regional identity nuances.
  • English proficiency at B1 (Intermediate) level.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially pixel-level anomalies in digital images.
  • Bachelor-level degree in cybersecurity, info security, or related fields is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • 3D Point-Cloud Annotation using LiDAR and depth data to recognize objects in 3D space.
  • Physics-Consistency Auditing of synthetic environments to ensure gravity, lighting, and collisions reflect real-world behavior.
  • Spatial Semantic Labeling of Digital Twins for factories, hospitals, or cities to teach AI the function of complex machinery.
  • Synthetic-to-Real (Sim2Real) Validation to compare simulation vs real-world AI performance and address reality gaps.
