Job summary

TELUS Digital is seeking a 3D Spatial Data Associate to label and organize 3D spatial data for AI applications. You will work with LiDAR and 3D meshes to teach AI the spatial alphabet, defining curb lines, pedestrian regions, and shelf areas for autonomous systems.

You’ll join a global community of experts, performing precise annotation, validation, and testing to ensure the digital twin accurately reflects the real world.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field; preferred: Architecture, Geography, Graphic Design, Game Design or STEM.
• Native-level proficiency in your primary language for accurate labeling of signage and assets.
• English proficiency at least B1 (Intermediate) to follow technical spatial guidelines.
• Strong 3D vision to understand depth and volume on a flat screen.

Responsibilities

• 3D Bounding Box Annotation: place precise 3D boxes around objects in point-cloud data.
• Semantic Segmentation: classify surfaces like road, sidewalk, and obstacles.
• Point-Cloud Cleaning: remove noise from sensor data for a clear reality.
• Simulated Data Validation: compare AI environments to real-world captures.
• Spatial Logic Testing: answer questions about 3D scenes to validate reasoning.
