Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing and chemical process environment.
• Proficient with NEC and NFPA codes.
• Experience with HART field devices.
• Ability to read PID’s, motor wiring diagrams, single line and PLC logic prints.
• Ability to learn high-voltage power distribution (100,000V to 12,470V to 480V).

Responsibilities

• Lead small projects to install new equipment such as instruments, VFDs and UPSs.
• Function as the site Radiation Safety Officer (training provided).
• Review testing of Safety Instrumented Systems and interlocks.
• Analyze failure modes and replacement strategies.
• Troubleshoot 480V systems and related equipment.
• Maintain maintenance and reliability KPI’s.
• Develop reliability project scopes based on manufacturing needs.
• Track and monitor reliability issues with Pareto-based value.
• Provide economical solutions for reliability issues.
• Document equipment in plant systems.
• Coordinate with EHS to meet OSHA and compliance regs.
• Facilitate reliability solutions with stakeholders.
• Complete reliability improvements in a timely manner.
• Suggest improvements to enhance asset performance.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
• Learn from support role models.
• Train technicians and create training documents.
• Apply reliability tools (FMEA, RCFA, PPA).
• Integrate existing work processes into digital solutions.
