Job summary

Del Conca USA Inc. in Loudon, Tennessee is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist – Spare Parts to maintain manufacturing spare parts inventory and ensure availability for production. Day shift: 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Monday–Friday.

You will verify orders, receive and store items, update inventory software, perform cycle counts, operate a forklift, and collaborate with vendors while upholding OSHA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent experience considered.
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• 2+ years of inventory control experience required.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Familiarity with automated inventory systems and computer-based programs.
• Experience with data entry and recordkeeping on PC-based systems.
• Ability to utilize computers and inventory software to perform job duties.
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to work independently.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds; heavier weights as required.
• Clean driving records are a must.

Responsibilities

• Maintain parts inventory by receiving, inspecting, identifying, storing, and recording items.
• Verify received orders against packing slips and PO's.
• Store received goods according to inventory procedures.
• Fill parts requests by reviewing requisitions and locating items.
• Maintain and update the parts database in designated software.
• Conduct physical inventory counts to verify accuracy.
• Operate forklift to store inventory and move goods.
• Interact with vendors regarding pricing, status, delivery, and discrepancies.
• Notify supervisor of shortages, discrepancies, or issues.
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized work environment; comply with OSHA.
• Work with EHS monitoring safety equipment for OSHA compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
