Job summary

Easy As Pi Learning LLC in Broward County, Florida is seeking a bilingual Spanish tutor to provide one-on-one and small group sessions to students of all ages. The role includes in-person work and online sessions, with flexible scheduling.

You will use proven teaching methods, monitor progress, and deliver session reports to admins, parents, and teachers, while ensuring a safe, engaging learning environment and reliable travel between clients.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and able to tailor lessons to student levels
• At least 2 years tutoring experience with varied ages
• Able to commute within Broward County; in-person work required
• Strong communication with students, parents, and teachers
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching style

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in Spanish online and in person
• Assist students with homework and test preparation
• Use engaging teaching strategies to motivate learners
• Monitor student progress and share session reports with admin, parents, and teachers
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring with curriculum
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
• Travel between client locations as needed

Duties

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students both online and in person in all skill levels of Spanish
• Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback in session reports to admin, parents/guardians, and teachers
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring sessions with classroom curriculum
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
• Reliably commute from client to client

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish
• At least 2 years of tutoring experience
• Previous experience working with students, preferably with all ages
• Must be able to commute within the Broward county, FL area. Applicants who are not available for in person work will not be considered
• Knowledge of various teaching methods and techniques
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
• Special consideration will be given to candidates who are capable of teaching or tutoring other subjects including other foreign languages, English, social studies and history, mathematics, and science
