Job summary

EASY AS PI LEARNING LLC is seeking tutors to provide in-person tutoring for pre-k through elementary students at our Plantation, FL storefront in Broward Mall. Sessions cover reading/writing, math, history and science, with preference for multi-subject capabilities.

Flexible scheduling includes afternoons, evenings, and Saturday slots to support families. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of education-related experience, preschool background, and strong communication with students, parents,

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of education experience working with toddlers.
• Experience with preschool or early childhood education preferred.
• Available from 2-4pm Monday - Friday and on Saturdays between 10am-12pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to pre-k through elementary students in Reading/Writing, Mathematics, History/Social Studies, and Science.
• Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation.
• Tutor at our storefront location in Broward Mall, Plantation, FL.
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students.
• Monitor student progress and provide session reports to admins, parents/guardians, and teachers.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring with curriculum.
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Reliably commute between client locations as needed.

Duties

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students in person for students in pre-k through elementary school in the following subject areas
  • Reading/Writing
  • Mathematics
  • History/Social Studies
  • Science
  • Preference will be given to applicants capable of tutoring in multiple subject areas
• Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation
• Applicants who cannot work at our storefront location in the Broward Mall in Plantation, FL will not be considered
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback in session reports to admin, parents/guardians, and teachers
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring sessions with classroom curriculum
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
• Reliably commute from client to client

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of education experience working with toddlers
• Previous experience working with students, preferably in a preschool setting or with early childhood education
• Available from 2-4pm Monday - Friday and on Saturdays between 10am-12pm
• Knowledge of various teaching methods and techniques
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
