Qualifications

  • Experience teaching world languages at middle school level preferred.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and implement subject area lessons based on applicable state standards.
  • Ensure accommodations and modifications are made for the growth and development of all students.
  • Guide students in maintaining acceptable standards of classroom behavior.
  • Maintain records of individual student achievement and evaluating students on a continuous basis.
  • Meet and instruct assigned classes at designated times.
  • Prepare for classes and maintaining written evidence of preparation.
  • Uphold and enforce school rules, school board policies, and administrative regulations.
  • Work with other members of the world language staff to plan instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
  • Supports and promotes the District's Core Ethical Values with students, colleagues and parents.

Job Goal: To help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as self-reliant, life-long learners and responsible citizens.
