Job summary

White & Case LLP seeks a Spanish-fluent junior associate with Commercial Litigation experience to join the LATAM Technology Disputes group in Los Angeles or Miami. You will handle cutting-edge issues involving privacy, intermediary liability, defamation, consumer protection, and regulatory matters for major technology companies on a global scale.

You will work on lean teams, draft client advice, and collaborate with local and global counsel.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in CA or FL.
• Spanish language proficiency required.
• 2–3 years of Commercial Litigation experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to synthesize legal concepts for client advice.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management under pressure.
• Excellent drafting skills with attention to factual accuracy.
• Commercial/business awareness and intellectual curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Develop litigation strategy and draft substantive pleadings across matters, overseeing on-the-ground counsel.
• Guide clients through regulatory investigations by international authorities, including submissions and compliance advice.
• Advise on risk assessments for new products, policies, and global regulations.
• Analyze reports of unlawful social media content or moderation.
• Research and present global legal analyses impacting social media platforms.
