Job summary

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English required.
• Qualified Health Care Interpreter within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in healthcare or human services preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and interpreting/ translating processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide translation and interpretation services for Spanish-speaking patients, families, and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate communication in clinical settings.
• Represent GSHCS professionally in all patient interactions and during duties.
• Perform clerical tasks and other assigned duties as needed.
