Job summary

Twin Rivers Unified School District seeks a District Community Liaison for 8 hours/day to strengthen parent engagement and coordinate workshops with site administration and community partners. The role creates welcoming environments to foster partnerships and promotes attendance and academic success.

Under the supervision of the assigned supervisor, the liaison will facilitate activities across the district's English Learners Services Department and related programs.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent and two years of experience with students and parents in instructional or social service settings.
• Spanish language ability preferred; competency in a second language may be required.
• Requires valid driver's license; CPR certification may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workshops and services to boost parent engagement with site and district staff.
• Create welcoming environments and foster partnerships between families, schools, the district and community partners.
• Engage parents through events and activities to promote attendance and academic success.
