Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Ability to accurately provide consecutive interpretation.
• Successful completion of applicable language evaluations and credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish onsite.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an accepted assignment.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA and client requirements.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients, patients, healthcare professionals, and other participants.
• Maintain language proficiency and knowledge necessary to perform assignments accurately.
