Stevenson School in Pebble Beach, CA seeks a Spanish Language Teacher to begin August 2026. The candidate will teach up to five sections of Spanish, provide timely feedback, and act as an advisor, engaging with students beyond the classroom.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in Spanish or related field, 3 years of world languages teaching, strong English, familiarity with TP RS and CI methods, and ability to teach multiple grades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in or related to target language; master’s preferred.
• Minimum 3 years teaching world languages at a similar grade level.
• Strong English language speaking and writing skills.
• Experience with TP RS and CI methods to foster language acquisition.
• Ability to teach multiple grade levels daily.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Proficient with instructional technology and CAL tools; familiar with Canvas.
• Active participation in professional development for Spanish teaching.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to five sections of Spanish.
