Job description

We are hiring hourly interpreters to work from home!

Provide interpreting services via telephone to our customers and their clients from the comfort of your home.

We serve clients nationwide, offering over 240 languages and dialects. Our interpreters are valued for their expertise, job satisfaction, and their ability to support their families.

Essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

1. Facilitate understanding in communication by faithfully interpreting into the target language, without adding, omitting, or changing anything.
2. Maintain impartiality and show no bias or preference toward either party during interpretation.
3. Interpret in the first person at all times, clarify when necessary, and uphold confidentiality and ethical standards.
4. Be aware of cultural differences and explain them when appropriate.
5. Continuously improve interpreting skills and uphold high standards of customer service.

Qualifications required:

1. At least 2 years of professional interpreting experience.
2. Located in the US with the legal status to work as an employee.
3. Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily.
4. Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondence.
5. Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group situations.

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time employee with a dedicated schedule.
• Hourly Rate: $17-$20, subject to experience, training, education, and location.
