Job summary

Language Services Associates in Shippensburg, PA is seeking Spanish interpreters to support LEP communities across diverse settings. As an Independently Contracted Interpreter, you will facilitate language access for clients and join a nationwide network delivering essential interpreting services on assignment.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, professional conduct, and superior customer service. Preference is given to candidates with 1+ year interpreting experience and industry

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Spanish.
• High level of client service.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including confidentiality.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures and professional interpretation protocols.
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients.
• Report on site to accepted assignments in a timely manner.
• Access to personal or public transport.
