Job summary

Language Services Associates, Inc. is seeking Spanish interpreters to join its network of independently contracted interpreters, delivering language support across varied settings for LEP communities.

As a contracted interpreter, you will provide superior client service, uphold the Code of Professional Conduct, and meet client clearance requirements while reporting to assignments on time and using transport access as needed.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English and Spanish.
• The ability to provide a high level of client service.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
• Access to personal or public transport
