Job summary

Language Services Associates in Shippensburg, PA is seeking Spanish interpreters to join its network of Independently Contracted Interpreters. You will facilitate language communication for LEP communities across a range of settings and schedules.Qualified candidates are fully bilingual, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and professional standards. Prior interpreting experience is preferred, and certifications such as CMI or CCHI are a plus.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English and Spanish.
• Strong client service orientation.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry certifications/trainings (CMI, CCHI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
• Access to personal or public transport
