Job summary

Culver Academies in Culver, Indiana, seeks a World Languages and Cultures educator to join our faculty. The position starts as soon as possible for the 26/27 school year, focusing on Spanish and culture across levels including Advanced Placement.

Qualified candidates will hold a BA in Spanish with several years of secondary teaching experience and be prepared to contribute to curriculum and level leadership within a collaborative multilingual team.

Qualifications

• BA in Spanish with secondary teaching experience preferred.
• Experience teaching at the secondary school level.
• Proficiency in designing proficiency-based curricula and performance assessments.

Responsibilities

• Teach all levels of language and culture from introductory to AP in a 4x4 block schedule.
• Teach two sections at a time with an average load of 32 students per term.
• Collaborate with the Spanish team and multilingual staff to design student experiences.
