Job summary

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required for access to USG facilities.
• 3–5 years of technical leadership of software teams; greater experience valued.
• 5+ years of experience in software development for safety-critical software.
• Strong C programming skills and Linux experience; full software life cycle expertise.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 5+ member spacecraft software team; prioritize features and plan verification.
• Provide mentorship, recruit, and manage team development activities.
• Develop and maintain OWC and LEOC flight software.
• Design GUIs, data dictionaries, and flight software interfaces.
• Create automated tests; perform systems engineering and integration testing.
• Collaborate across NASA programs and ensure adherence to process practices.
