Job summary

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional software experience.
• Proficiency with Python 3.10 and C++20.
• Experience developing software in a Linux environment.
• Experience across the software development lifecycle (design, development, verification, validation).
• Experience with simulation software, modeling or testing.
• Familiarity with DOORS or similar requirements management software.
• Experience with network protocols and multi-threaded applications.
• Strong debugging, unit testing, and integration testing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance simulation software to test spacecraft systems.
• Design and implement models that replicate spacecraft systems and interfaces.
• Develop using Python 3.10 and C++20 in Linux environments.
• Run simulations, analyze results, and verify performance against requirements.
• Support verification, validation, unit, integration, and system testing activities.
• Collaborate with Lockheed Martin teams to integrate simulation software into testing environments.
• Support requirements management, traceability, and verification activities.
• Participate in project reviews and coordinate technical work with stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of simulation development and testing methodologies.
