Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Security Officer 3 to protect and secure company properties and personnel in a fast-paced, high-tech setting. The role involves patrols, incident response, and coordination with law enforcement and internal teams.

The position requires extensive experience in security, executive protection, and the ability to work across shifts, including overtime and weekends. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in the military, law enforcement, overseas security contracting, or advanced corporate security realm.
• 1+ year of executive protection, mobile asset protection, or emergency response team experience.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency/awareness of static guard post duties.
• Plan and conduct advanced security training for all security officers.
• Conduct advanced research and analysis in support of SpaceX security missions.
• Conduct and review risk assessments of critical SpaceX facilities.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide on-scene leadership to others.
• Plan and coordinate domestic flight hardware transportation operations.
• Learn advanced skillsets including EMT, investigations, surveillance, VIP escort, security hardware.
• Function as liaison with law enforcement, community leaders and key stakeholders in space industry.
