Job summary

Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, cost estimation, risk management, design reviews, and program milestones to ensure safety, reliability, and mission success for long-duration human spaceflight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of project management in aerospace or space systems.
• Experience managing NASA or human spaceflight projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management for aerospace projects.
• Manage development, integration, and certification of spaceflight hardware and software.
• Develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules, cost estimates, and BOEs.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (ECLSS, mechanical, electrical, software).
• Interface with customers and stakeholders to ensure mission alignment.
• Support design reviews, technical reviews, and milestone reviews.
• Manage risks, issues, and change control across projects.
• Ensure compliance with NASA processes for requirements, verification, safety, quality, config mgmt.
• Review and approve technical documentation.
• Provide regular status reporting on cost, schedule, and technical performance.
