Job summary

Leidos in Texas seeks a Project Manager to oversee the Cargo Mission Contract (CMC), directing hardware development and certification for spaceflight supporting NASA programs and commercial efforts.

You will manage schedules in MS Project, develop BOEs, review work orders, and coordinate across multi-discipline teams; travel and after-hours support may be required. Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance; U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.

Qualifications

• Requires BS degree and at least 4 years relevant experience.
• Spaceflight hardware development and certification experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with proposal development for new business opportunities.
• Clear communication with multi-discipline teams.
• Public Trust clearance eligibility; U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.

Responsibilities

• Manage hardware development projects to design, build, certify, and deliver spaceflight hardware.
• Create and maintain resource-loaded schedules in MS Project Professional.
• Develop Basis-of-Estimates (BOEs) for new on-contract growth.
• Review, author, and approve work orders, non-conformance reports, internal/external customer presentations, designs, and trade studies.
