Job summary

HX5, LLC is seeking an Engineer III for NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. The role involves project engineering support for exercise-related tasks, documentation, and interdepartmental coordination to enable spaceflight hardware development.

The position requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 2–5 years of experience, strong communication, and hands-on test and assembly capabilities. On-site work with a 9/80 schedule may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong communication skills (oral & written).
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
• Experience with test procedures development and hardware troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain documentation for tasks (TPS, DR, DTP).
• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot hardware and fixtures.
• Coordinate with test facilities for external tests (EMI, Acoustic, Vibration, Thermal).
• Prepare flight articles and coordinate flight logistics.
• Work with NASA engineering and project teams to meet objectives.
