Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks an experienced Program Manager to oversee moderately complex engineering projects at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on delivering services on time, within budget, and to the highest quality, coordinating between staff and Customer representatives onsite.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in engineering/architecture and project management, PE or Architect credentials, PMP preferred, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or Architecture from an accredited university.
• PMP certification is highly preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect, with a minimum of ten years of related experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in engineering or architecture and project management.
• Proficiency in project controls tools and engineering standards.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
• Strong client relationship management in complex situations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Receive and communicate task and project orders, scope, and estimates.
• Oversee day-to-day operations while coordinating the onsite team.
• Ensure successful resource planning and execution of the contract, to ensure contract performance standards.
• Supervise and guide A&E Managers, Construction Supervision/Inspection Managers, GIS Manager, and the onsite team.
• Foster synergies between individual work requests to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
