Job summary

Blue Origin is searching for an NDT Technician - Radiography (RT) - Level II to lead inspections in Titusville, Florida. This role involves examinations ensuring that spaceflight hardware meets safety and quality standards.

As part of Blue Origin Operations, the technician will employ Nondestructive Testing methods, engage with engineering teams, and ensure the integrity of components critical to safe human spaceflight.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Level 2 experience in non-film radiography.
• Must pass Radiographic General Test and Specific Test.
• Carded as a radiographer for X-rays.
• Qualify per NAS-410 requirements.
• Experience in both lab and field inspection.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections using Digital Radiographic Test (DRT).
• Establish techniques to examine hardware for safety.
• Document and organize inspection results.
• Communicate with Engineers regarding inspection results.

Skills

Level 2 experience in non-film radiography

Ability to read and understand blueprints

Experience with MS Office products

Experience in analyzing data from structures

Education

Radiographic General Test certification

40 hours of Radiation Safety Training

Qualifications per NAS-410

Tools

Non-destructive testing (NDT) inspection equipment
