Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced NDT Radiography Technician to perform digital radiography on flight hardware and test samples. You will inspect, document, and communicate results to engineers and managers, ensuring adherence to safety and specification requirements.

The role involves working on DRT inspections, interpreting results, and maintaining process control checks. Overtime and off-shift work are required as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Level 2 experience in non-film radiography (DR or CR).
• Pass Radiographic General Test and Specific Test by week 3.
• Carded by a state or certifying entity as a radiographer for X-ray.
• NAS-410 radiography training requirements.
• 40 hours of Radiation Safety Training.
• NAS-410 Level II certification with 800 hours minimum documented experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain techniques to examine hardware safely and per specs.
• Perform inspections using Digital Radiographic Test (DRT).
• Interpret results and apply acceptance criteria from drawings or shop orders.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly process control checks.
• Document and organize inspection results.
• Interface with Engineers/Managers to discuss inspection results.
