Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics plus five years of spaceflight operations experience.
• Experience in flight operations or mission control.
• Flight controller and/or instructor certifications are desirable.
• Strong problem-solving abilities in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
• Experience developing, validating, and executing procedures, timelines, flight rules, and training materials.
• Ability to collaborate with customers and stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; leadership and teamwork skills.
• Shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
• Able to pass security clearances and a flight controller physical examination.

Responsibilities

• Establish the mission operations architecture for new programs with customer stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain, and execute operational products such as procedures, timelines, flight rules, and training materials.
• Support mission readiness through simulations, testing, and anomaly response activities.
• Perform real-time operations; monitor status, control systems from mission control, report anomalies, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor real-time system health and performance; operate spacecraft systems from mission room.
• Apply technical knowledge to make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform all other assigned duties.
