Job summary

Analytical Mechanics Associates, Inc. (AMA) of Hampton, VA is seeking an entry to early career Mechanical Engineer with experience in Materials & Processes and Contamination Control to support spaceflight hardware for NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in ME, AE, or CE with spaceflight exposure preferred.
  • Experience with contamination control for spaceflight hardware.
  • Knowledge of aerospace materials, processing, uses and limitations.

Responsibilities

  • Generate contamination control processes for spaceflight hardware during all life cycle phases.
  • Assess hardware design for materials selection and processing implications.
  • Develop reports, presentations and other documentation.
  • Oversee contamination prevention through assembly, storage, shipment and testing.
