You’ll contribute to analyses, simulations, and risk assessments, work with cross-disciplinary leaders, and may travel to support customer efforts.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Aerospace engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related discipline (Pursuing or conferred within the last 12 months)
• 0 to 1 years of professional postgraduate experience
• Aptitude with astrodynamics and related mathematics
• Skills in mathematical formulation and derivation
• Demonstrated skills in the development and use of computer software tools
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (US citizenship required)
• Transcripts are required

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a variety of projects involving analyses and software development across launch operations and risk assessment areas
• Support real-time operations and analyses including launch and on-orbit collision risk assessments
• Conduct technical deep dives, trade studies, and assessments with engineers and program offices to address customer needs
• Develop and present timely, technically accurate briefings and reports to leads, management, and customers
• Travel occasionally to support customer efforts
