Job summary

Leidos seeks a Project Manager to oversee the development and certification of spaceflight hardware for NASA programs and commercial efforts. You will manage schedules in MS Project, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and prepare BOEs for on-contract growth.

Experience with spaceflight hardware and NASA processes is preferred; U.S. citizenship or clearance eligibility may apply. Strong communication and partnerships with customers are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Requires BS degree and at least 4 years relevant experience.
• Spaceflight hardware development and certification experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manage hardware development projects to design, build, certify, and deliver new hardware for spaceflight.
• Create and maintain project resource-loaded schedules in MS Project Professional.
• Develop Basis-of-Estimates (BOEs) for new on-contract growth.
• Review, author, and approve work orders, non-conformance reports, internal/external customer presentations, designs, and trade studies.
