Job summary

Astranis in Northern California invites a Flight Software Intern for Winter 2027. You will work with the engineering team to design, write and test embedded software on satellites and related ground control and testing software.

This twelve-week, hourly internship is designed for students currently enrolled at a four-year university. Applicants should pursue a BS in CS/EE/CE, have C/C++ and scripting experience, and demonstrate the ability to design, write, and test software from scratch.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
• Experience with C/C++ and scripting language(s).
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Work with the engineering team to design, write and test software (embedded software running on satellites, as well as ground control and testing software).
