Job summary

Astranis is offering a Flight Software Intern position for Winter 2027. This twelve-week, hourly internship targets undergraduate students in CS, ECE, or related fields, giving hands-on experience with embedded software for satellites and ground control tools.

You will collaborate with the engineering team to design, implement, and test software running on satellites and supporting ground software, gaining exposure to real spaceflight projects and a path toward full-time opportunities at

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
• Experience with C/C++ and scripting language(s).
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch.
• Bonus: Experience with embedded systems running on bare metal.
• Bonus: Experience with real time operating systems.
• Bonus: Experience with FPGA or DSP programming.
