Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years experience or Master’s with 1+ year.
• Experience with Parametric CAD software for component design and sizing.
• Demonstrated experience in hardware design, analysis, and testing.
• Ability to work independently under general direction.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• US citizenship or Permanent Residence.

Responsibilities

• Generate CAD design models and engineering drawings of components for spaceflight hardware.
• Perform analytical sizing on designed hardware.
• Develop reports, presentations and other documentation.
• Generate assembly/integration and test procedures.
• Guide hardware through the manufacturing process and overseeing assembly and testing.
• Attend meetings to discuss design, analysis, qualification and acceptance plans and reports.
