Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Thermal Development Technician (STARSHIP) to work across office, factory floor, and lab environments. You will preprocess ceramic materials, fabricate TPS components, and document processes for repeatability.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with hand tools, and the ability to read engineering drawings. ITAR compliance and varying shifts are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Experience with hand tools or power tools.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Preprocess and manufacture ceramic fibers, filaments, and powders for next-tier products.
• Fabricate ceramic billets, tiles, fillers, coatings and other components for TPS.
• Basic fabrication and surface preparation; bonding and oven curing.
• Document processes precisely for repeatability.
• Perform product inspection and rework as needed.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings with symbols and notes.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of production machinery.
