Job summary

Voyager Lunar Systems is seeking a Thermal Engineer in a hybrid Pittsburgh-based role with responsibilities across design, build, test, and operation of thermal control systems for spacecraft and lunar hardware.

You will develop thermal designs, support testing in cleanroom environments, and create models to predict performance and guide decisions, collaborating with senior engineers and the propulsion/thermal team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant engineering field with 2+ years of thermal experience.
• Strong grasp of thermal-fluid fundamentals and design tools.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB or similar for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support design, integration, testing, and operation of spacecraft thermal systems.
• Create conceptual and detailed designs for thermal components and hardware.
• Build and run thermal models to guide design decisions.
