Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking a Spacecraft Thermal Engineer to support the design, analysis, and testing of advanced satellite thermal systems for national security and space missions. Responsibilities include thermal design from component to spacecraft levels, model development, margin evaluation, and support for thermal vacuum testing, data analysis, and verification.

Collaboration on MLI integration is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in spacecraft or complex thermal systems.
• US citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal design and analysis at component, subsystem, and spacecraft levels.
• Develop thermal models and evaluate temperature margins.
• Support thermal vacuum testing, data analysis, and verification.
• Collaborate on thermal system design, optimization, and MLI blanket integration.
